What Are the Components of ASRT?

Advanced Spinal Restoration Treatment (ASRT) is a multi-phase system that addresses the root causes of spinal dysfunction. It combines proven, non-invasive therapies to promote healing, optimize function, and prevent future injury. The ASRT approach is built on three foundational phases: Repair, Restore, and Rebuild.

Repair

The Repair phase focuses on relieving pressure, reducing inflammation, and eliminating pain at its source. This is achieved through methods such as non-surgical spinal decompression, laser therapy, electroanalgesia, and soft tissue healing.

  • Spinal decompression: Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine to create negative pressure within the intervertebral discs, encouraging the retraction of herniated material and promoting nutrient-rich fluid flow for disc repair.
  • Laser therapy: Laser therapy uses low-level light energy to stimulate cellular activity, enhancing tissue regeneration and reducing inflammatory responses.
  • Electroanalgesia: Electroanalgesia uses high-frequency electrical stimulation to block pain signals at the nerve level while stimulating the release of natural endorphins for pain control.

Restore

Once acute pain is addressed, the Restore phase promotes regeneration and enhances the body’s natural healing mechanisms. This stage incorporates SoftWave therapy, shockwave therapy, pulsed magnetic frequency therapy, and neuromuscular retraining.

  • SoftWave therapy: SoftWave therapy uses unfocused acoustic waves to activate stem cells and promote tissue regeneration at a cellular level.
  • Shockwave therapy: Shockwave therapy introduces high-energy sound waves that stimulate blood flow and accelerate the healing of tendons, ligaments, and bones.
  • Pulsed magnetic frequency therapy: Pulsed magnetic frequency therapy applies electromagnetic fields to injured areas, boosting cellular repair by increasing mitochondrial activity and ATP production.
  • Neuromuscular retraining: Neuromuscular retraining helps reestablish proper muscle firing patterns and communication between nerves and muscles—restoring natural movement and reducing the risk of re-injury.

Rebuild

The Rebuild phase focuses on strengthening, stabilizing, and future-proofing the spine to prevent the recurrence of pain and dysfunction. It includes neuromuscular rehabilitation, functional movement therapy, chiropractic structural corrections, and lifestyle modifications.

  • Neuromuscular rehabilitation: Neuromuscular rehabilitation involves targeted exercises and modalities that strengthen weak muscle groups and improve balance and coordination.
  • Functional movement therapy: Functional movement therapy addresses improper biomechanics by retraining the body to move correctly during daily activities.
  • Chiropractic corrections: Chiropractic care realigns the spine, relieving nerve interference and restoring proper joint motion.
  • Lifestyle coaching: Lifestyle coaching supports patients in adopting ergonomic practices, healthy movement habits, and nutritional strategies that sustain spinal health over time.

A Whole-Body Approach to Spinal Wellness

True spinal healing goes beyond the spine itself—it requires a whole-body strategy. At Spinatomy, we integrate spinal care with functional movement, muscle strengthening, and metabolic health to ensure long-term relief and vitality. This integrated model ensures patients experience not only relief from pain but also restored strength, mobility, and resilience. These are the two arms of Spinatomy: Spinatomy Spine & Disc and Spinatomy Wellness.

Spinatomy Spine & Disc

Spinatomy Spine & Disc focuses on diagnosing and treating the structural causes of back and neck pain. Using Advanced Spinal Restoration Treatment, we address spinal misalignment, disc compression, and nerve interference through non-invasive methods like spinal decompression, laser therapy, and neuromuscular rehabilitation.

Spinatomy Wellness

Spinatomy Wellness enhances physical function by targeting muscular weakness, movement dysfunction, and metabolic imbalances. With technologies like Sculpt Neo, functional movement therapy, and weight management strategies, this branch helps patients build core strength, improve mobility, and reduce the risk of reinjury—completing the path to total wellness.
