Dr. Ryan Truong, DC was born in Vietnam but came to the US early and grew up in New York State. Dr. Ryan, as he is affectionately called by the team, moved to California after high school and attended the University of California Irvine. Dr. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Ryan attended the University of Southern California earning his Doctorate in Chiropractic medicine in 2002. Dr. Ryan is licensed in both Nevada and California.
Over the next 16 years, Dr. Ryan worked in many chiropractic clinics in different cities and gained experience in personal injury and worker’s compensation. In 2018, he decided to go back to school for a third professional degree at West Coast University to gain more insights into the world of medicine. Dr. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Cum Laude in 2021. Dr. Ryan joined Spinatomy in the summer of 2022.
Dr. Ryan’s hobbies are singing, swimming, dancing, bowling, traveling, raising fish in aquariums, taking road trips, and watching movies at theaters.

Dr. Ryan will serve patients in both Culver City and Van Nuys.
Dr. Danilo Velozo was born in the city of Ilheus, an old tourist city on the northeast coast of Brazil. Dr. D, as he is affectionately called, lived in Brazil until the age of 17. Dr. D moved to the USA alone to pursue his education at Southern Adventist University for prerequisite studies for a Chiropractic degree. Dr. D finished his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and doctorate in Chiropractic medicine at University of Western States.
Dr. D has received additional training and certification in Non-surgical spinal decompression and is a knee decompression specialist. Dr. D has been trained in multiple medical grade equipment (Neuromed, class 4 cold laser and Softwave).
Prior to coming to Spinatomy, Dr. D has worked at The Wellness Center PDX (PI practice), Connected Health Centers (chiropractic family practice), Human Metabolic L as technician and as a research assistant.
Dr. D is a wellness enthusiast who loves being active. Dr. D likes hiking, yoga, swimming and weight lifting and loves to dance. Dr. D was a part of a competitive dance team. Dr. D loves to travel and experience new cuisines and cultures. His favorite book is, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and his favorite quote is, “Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.”
Most of Dr. D’s family still lives in Brazil with the exception of a sister that lives in Miami. Dr. D is the oldest of his siblings. Dr. D lives in the greater LA area with his partner and has developed great friendships over the last 12 years while living in the US which he considers to be his family here in the US.
Dr. D will serve both Culver City and Van Nuys.
Hailing from humble beginnings in Ravenna, Nebraska, Dr. Tyra Beavers has been a Chiropractic physician for more almost 30 years. Dr. Beavers graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy in 1985. She has a Physical Therapist Assistant license from the State of California, is certified in yoga therapy and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1995 where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. Beavers worked in the Physical Therapy field for 8 years before opening a Chiropractic Wellness Center in Beverly Hills where she treated and healed patients for more than 25 years. Dr. Beavers has worked with many prestigious Beverly Hills Physicians such as Cedars Physician, Dr David Kawashiri, Renown ENT Dr. Joseph Sugerman and Concierge Physician, Dr. Jeremy Fine. She has also been a provider for Cedars Sinai as a Chiropractic Physician.
An imbalance in the leg length can lead to spinal disc injuries, severe degeneration of the spine, or even joint replacement surgery. These imbalances can cause pain and degeneration anywhere in the body. The spine, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, foot and even the TMJ (jaw). A special X-ray is used to diagnose the exact leg length difference. Once diagnosed, Dr. Beavers uses this information to develop a treatment plan that includes fitting the patient with an insert and custom orthotics specifically designed for this condition. Dr. Beavers’ knowledge of the body and expertise in leg length difference has changed so many lives. She aspires to continue doing so each and every day at the Culver City Spinatomy Spine and Disc Centers.
The married mother of four enjoys hiking, biking, camping, dancing and spending time with her 4 grandchildren and furry family members!
